About Us

The Mountaineers helps people explore, conserve, learn about, and enjoy the lands and waters of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Since our founding in 1906, Conservation & Advocacy have been central to our mission and core values and we are a regional leader, educator, convener, and advocate for issues centered on conservation.

About An Evening of Advocacy
Since 2019, The Mountaineers have gathered annually to raise awareness and funds for our donor-supported Conservation and Advocacy work. Each year we center the event around a pressing conservation issue, and invite leaders and advocates to engage in insightful discussion to broaden knowledge, support advocacy, and elevate solutions. All funds raised through An Evening of Advocacy ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations will provide critical support for our advocacy efforts to conserve the natural world for future generations.

The Mountaineers is a 501(c)(3) organization. As a nonprofit, all donations are tax-deductible. Federal Tax Identification Number is 27-3009280.
